Yinxue “Lucy” Zou is a graphic artist and designer based in North Carolina whose practice lives between the poster, the diagram, and the map. She builds dense fields of grids, contours, particles, and typographic fragments, treating each work as a visual system where language, data, and emotion negotiate space with one another. Trained in both architecture and graphic design, Zou thinks in plans and sections: flows of people become lines, unstable memories become shifting topographies, and everyday coordinates turn into patterns of blue noise. Across prints, works on paper, and digital compositions, she investigates how graphic structures—modules, patterns, and interfaces—can hold states of migration, translation, and in-between belonging.
